Slugs 4

Posted by Gorefest5 - January 17th, 2008

i have begun to make slugs 4, and got a complaint from one of my friends about how easily the enemies were dispatched. so here is a poll to settle it

1) Realistic fighting
-Pros: harder, and smarter enemies
-Cons: less kills, slower pace
-Enemy Smarts: high

2) Gears of War Style
-Pros: use cover, execution moves
-Cons: don't kill in one shot
-Enemy Smarts: genius

3) Halo style
-Pros: more weapons, support troops, enemies organized into classes
-Cons: squads of enemies, lots of jumping
-Enemy Smarts: depends on class

4) Moar Maddness
Like the original maddness based slugs? think this post is a waste of space? VOTE HERE!
-Pros: originally meant this way, fast pase
-Cons: enemies aren't that hard
-Enemy Smarts: below average

Vote which one you like on a response!!!

Enemies wouldn't be so easy to kill if there were moar of em (go #4).

Just jack up the kill count into the hundreds and then it'll be perfect.

like the get-to-it response, but my computer freezes after the 780th frame-ish, if you have a suggestion for helping this please tell.

kill something every 7.8 frames. duh.

jk, but really, I don't know, I have the same problem. I can't tell how much of it you're fbf-ing but what I've started doing is making smaller movie clips and using more tweens. I also heard that changing the scene often helps too.

how does one change scenes?
